In this thesis,1-methyl-3-propylimidazoliumiodide(MPⅡ), 3-hexyl-1-methylimidazolium iodide,3-ethyl-1-methylimidazolium trifluoroacetate (EMITA) were synthesized under solvent-free conditions by using Teflon-lined,stainless steel autoclaves respectively. It showed that the yield was close to 100%and the procedure was highly-efficient and eco-friendly.1-methyl-3-propylimidazolium acetate was synthesized by metathesis reaction. These four ionic liquids were applied in the electrolytes of dye sensitized solar cells respectively. The redox behavior ofⅠ3-/Ⅰ- in the electrolyte were studied by means of cyclic voltammetry for ultramicroelectrodes. The apparent diffusion coefficients ofⅠ3- andⅠ- in different electrolyte were calculated on the basis of the anodic and cathodic steady-state current. The photovoltaic performance of DSCs(Jsc,Voc,FF,η) depending on the mass-transport control ofⅠ3- was elucidated. The influence of 1-methylimidazole,benzimidazole,4-tert-butylpyrdine and EMITA on apparent diffusion coefficients ofⅠ3- andⅠ- in the electrolyte(Electrolyte component:0.6 mol/L MPⅡ,0.1 mol/LⅠ2,solvent:3-methoxypropionitrile) and the Pt counter electrode|electrolyte interface were investigated by ultramicroelectrode and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. The photovoltaic performances of dye sensitized solar cells were compared with these addictives.EMITA increased the open voltage and fill factor while reduced the resistance of electrolytes in DSCs.
