As the economy increasingly developed of modern society, increasingly comprehensive transportation is increasingly on the agenda. Road-rail vehicle with its continuous transport, which can realize the door to door transportation advantages, in recent years, increasingly on the development agenda, and there will be widely used in the future. This paper aimed to design a scheme of inner axle-box type single-axle bogie of a large, heavy and long iron amphibious vehicle wheel driving device. Domestic mounted inside the axle bogie and the study of single axle bogie is less, there is no mature use; In this paper, the inner axle-box type bogie suspension system parameters were optimized to integrate and obtain input and output parameters of the suspension dynamics between indicators and response agency model; the surrogate model basis for the suspension to optimize the parameters of the target, get the suspension system response optimization, and dynamic simulation; Finally, the inner axle-box type bogie vehicle dynamics performance for a more systematic study were performed, and this paper has some theoretical and engineering reference value.In this paper, the main work done has the following several aspects:1. This paper expounds research status on the use of surrogate model optimization method, the single axle bogie and inner axle-box bogie development situation.2. Choice inner axle-box type single axle bogie for the design and selection of main components analysis, determine the structure and technical parameters of bogie, and established the three-dimensional entity model, by empirical data and a single variable method simulation analysis to determine a set of parameter combinations meet the basic dynamics of the suspension of operating conditions.3. Building vehicle dynamics model including four axle box mounted inside the single axle bogie, using multidisciplinary comprehensive optimization software. Isight integrated multi-body dynamics software SIMPACK, with eight suspension parameters as design variables and derailment coefficient、wheel load reduction rate、wheel-rail lateral force、axle lateral force and wear power as output response get500groups of sample points; then use Latin Hypercube design technology to build a surrogate model of the vehicle dynamics model, and take error analysis of the surrogate model.4. On the basis of the surrogate model, this paper using multi-objective genetic algorithm NSGA-Ⅱ to process bogie suspension parameters optimization, a set of optimal suspension parameters combination was finally determined.5. Based on the selected vehicle dynamics model of suspension parameters to analysis the dynamic performance of the vehicle. Respectively discuss the empty and loaded with two kinds of working conditions of stability, smooth and curve through performance analysis; Finally, comparing axle box mounted inside the single axle bogie with normal single axle bogie dynamic performance.
