Bridge is across the rivers, lakes and other obstacles overhead structures, Toensure the highway, city road, railway unimpeded, So as the lifeline engineering,Once destroyed it will cause huge loss to people’s life and property. Therefore, itis very important to research on the seismic performance of bridges, Through theisolation bearings and energy dissipation device is arranged in the bridgestructure. Thereby to increase the seismic performanceThis paper first introduces the seismic damage of bridges, seismicfortification criterion, as well as commonly used isolation bearings, Then itelaborates the basic theory analysis of seismic response of bridge. On the basis,this article takes a project as an example, Adopting Finite Element softwareMidas is to establish finite element model and the time history analysis, To studythe dynamic response of the earthquake law.The main content of this paper includes:1. based on dynamic mechanics theory, establishing the finite element model.2. The three span continuous beam bridge using steel bearing, the laminatedrubber bearings and lead rubber bearing, using the nonlinear time history analysismethod to calculate the bridge in three kinds of seismic waves under the action ofearthquake response.3. In order to study the effect of lead rubber bearing damping performance,based on spatial finite element model, through a large amount of calculation,From the bridge isolated and non-isolated compared to investigate the responseof the bridge and non-shock absorber bridge differences, calculate the dampingrate, through the numerical of damping ratio to determine the bearing dampingeffect.
