In eachprocessing cycle, the real cutting time is very short, which reduces the average cutting forceand cutting torque. At the same time, due to continuously back and forward of the tap, theblade has the effect of repeated cutting and ironing to the machining surface, which reducesthe friction torque. In addition, it also promotes the cutting fluid into the cutting zone, whichenhances the lubrication effect. The feed of tap is completed by its homing.The designed vibration tapping system implements vibration tapping and gains theincomparable effect in general tapping. The process rule and process parameters of vibrationtapping need comprehensive study in the subsequent tests.
