With the maturity and popularity of the smart grid, smart home applications,"Theinternet of Things" as the core of power line carrier communication technology is more andmore aroused the attention of the industry. Variety of power line carrier communicationtechnology in the field of production process, application process, distribution process andfamily and social informational play an growing important role. In the process of the systemdesign and technology development, an adaptive channel model not only can help researchersknow the channel transmission characteristics and develop a new technology to improvequality of the power line communication according to the channel characteristics, but also canverify the stability and validity of the technology. The evaluation the quality of power linechannel communication is an indispensable tool for the field of power line communications.In this paper, staring from the minimum technical requirements and applicationenvironment, for the lack of overseas research results about power line channel model,therefore, the power-line transmission needs to be in-depth study under various environmentalconditions and find the adaptive channel transmission technology according to the power linechannel transmission characteristics under various environments. The power-line channelreal-time measurement program is designed in this paper. Firstly, we analyze the circuit modelof power line and then propose the channel model. Finally, we measure the channeltransmission characteristic of the power line at100k~60MHz under different kinds ofenvironment. The paper also analyzes the impact of power-line length and wire diameter andsets up the revised channel mode, the establishment of the model provides a practical andeffective platform, so as to provide a theoretical support for making the reliable channelmode.The main works and the study of the paper include:(1)The research of establishment of minimum technical requirements and applicationenvironment.It is very important to ensure the case of the environment and explicit the statistics elements of the environment, because only do this can got the target statistics results.Moreover, the results can be compared, repeated, referred and certificated.(2)The support theory of power lineAccording to uniform transmission line theory, introduced its circuit model, and thenaccording to circuit model introduced its channel model, and make the simulation of channelmodel.(3)The verification of indoor power line channel characteristics test and correction ofthe transmission modelAccording to researching of the power line channel transmission characteristics, get theparameter of the channel model and study the statistics result of power line channel, proposean new adaptive power line transmission technology.Based on the above work, the establishment of minimum technical requirements andapplication environment and the theory of transmission is studied. A stabilization andsimulation of power line circuit model. A test system of power line channel is built, thestatistical data of power line channel under variety environments is measured, and the result isstudied. The correction of power line channel model and establishment of the adaptive powerline channel model under Chinese environment.
