But for the working properties and the mechanism ofactions of the composite soil nailing structure of each component, there is no uniformunderstanding at present, and there is no perfect theory to guide the engineeringpractice.Based on plenty of relational materials and the summary of the researchachievements, this thesis discussed the working mechanism of each part of the cementsoil pile composite soil nailing system depth, especially the action mechanism ofcement soil pile, summarizes and analyzes the important role of cement soil pile in thecomposite soil nailing structure.In the process of the integral stability calculation of excavations, the commonmethod now is that take the cement pile as a safety reserve, without considering its roleof retaining soil, that may cause the excavation design conservative, and in some casesit is not in line with the actual. The method of considering the cement pile’s role ofretaining soil is used in this thesis, and the overall stability of the composite soilnailing structure is calculated in various soil conditions, and discussed the role depth ofsoil cement pile-sharing variation with c, φ values. Through the analysis of thecalculated data, the important role of cement soil pile in the composite retainingstructure is further confirmed, and it also shows that the function of retaining soil ofthe cement soil pile should be proper considered in the calculation of excavationoverall stability.
