SMW engineering method is a new method used for retaining of deep excavation in recent years. As a new-style engineering method, due to many factors, SMW engineering method is limited in its spread and application in China. The reason lies in the faultiness of division theory, the lagging executive machine tools, the synergistic behindhand control level of large-scale machine, and etc. In allusion to the lag of division theory behind engineering practice, on the basis of some subway station project of Tianjin Metro Line 1, according to engineering practice and academic method, a series of self-contained computing methods were summed up also, depending on exiting research finding.In this article the physical mechanical character and design parameter of soil-cement were systemically expatiated, including the reinforcement principle of soil-cement, its water sealing character, mechanical character, and its stress-strain model. Material characteristic of soil cement, one of the main materials of fending wall, was summarized in this article.An embedded and systemic study of computing method of SMW method structure was carried in this article, on the basis of existing research results, study of in the collection of payments non-reinforced cement territories suffered what the district level, And checked the formula and works in conjunction with examples of the reliability of the certification of the calculation. All these will give offerings for SMW retaining structure design.Besides, according to the practical construction situation of SMW engineering method in subway station project of Tianjin Metro Line 1, making use of ANSYS software, numerical simulation analyses of this project was done in this article. After contrast analysis of limited element result and factual measured value, valuable conclusions were received, which provide reference for division theory and calculation means of SMW engineering method.
