Grounding systems and equipment for personal safety is an important guarantee for the safe operation of the substation, with the development of the power system, expanding the power grid, ground fault current is growing. Failure in the power system, grounding system will quickly spilled into the earth fault current will be reduced to human potential step and touch voltage tolerance value, and not be caused by secondary equipment back in order to ensure personal and safety equipment reliability. So grounding system plays a vital role in the production run substation, power system grounding problems and thus must be sufficient attention.FAQ combined to solve the current grounding system, such as grounding resistance of grounding grid, all the pressure, thermal stability, corrosion and other equipment grounding and made corresponding views. The use of long holes and ground grid square empty net to make the theoretical grounding comparison with the existing materials and new earth grounding techniques to study the various ways to reduce the grounding resistance, and have achieved good results in the production run.Based on many years of practical experience in the design, combined with the current substation engineering design and practical application, a detailed analysis of various issues in the course of the substation grounding technology design, construction and operation and reasons arising from the existence of the problem, the current problems existing substation grounding system The reason put forward their own ideas and design ideas. On the frequency grounding resistance and impact resistance requirements for grounding resistance calculation and analysis done; substation grounding grids are required to do a comparison of the data compression; and considering grounding problem of corrosion and thermal stability requirements of substation grounding devices are briefly described.The main problem currently appears on the operation of the substation grounding system are analyzed, such as:corrosive soils and soil erosion problem areas of high resistivity material reduction in resistance grounding is not ideal to do a special issue discussed.
