Such as Palm Springs, Seattle Gasworks Park,Duisburg Park, New York’s Central Park, Beijing Olympic Park, Beijing Imperial rootruins Park, Zhongshan Shipyard Park, etc. The natural environment, historical context,geographical features and other aspects of these cases were analyzed andevaluated.Based on outstanding landscape planning and design cases at home and abroad,combined with the comparison of Western history and thought patterns, etc., we obtainedthe way of creating a characteristic landscape.In the natural environment, different geography, topography, climate andsite-specific native plants, etc., laid the foundation for the long-standing cultural andhistorical arising from different regions. It should adapted to environment and climate,combined with the use of native plants and geological features.In terms of historical context, every city has its history. The historical backgroundwhich is the areas’ context, is the basis for updating the research and creation. In thelandscape planning and designing, we should be combined with the historical sites,historic sites, traditional folk and lifestyle, religious culture and traditional elements, soas to maintain the continuity of the historical sites.In the present position features regional aspects, landscape architecture needs tocoordinate with the surrounding environment, and you need to fully consider thecharacteristics and service requirements of surrounding environment.
