These activities exist as some events which have more or less influence to the public space. The enrich the daily life of people, while change the landscape of the urban landscape. Meanwhile, they have become one of the most attractive elements of the public space. As a special sort of landscape design, the way of celebration event-landscape is different from the common landscape design. We should research it more profoundly.This article is research on the celebration event-landscape design, based on the special period and background of the celebration events, Use the celebration event-landscape design as the research object, use the related theories as basis, Celebration events and celebration event-landscape design related concepts classification, characteristics, significance and impact of in-depth research and analysis. As the same time, analyzing characteristic and response measures of the2005World Exposition in Aichi, Japan, Summed up the celebration event-landscape design methods and some specific technical. With personally having token part in the anniversary design cases of the founding of Nanjing University of Technology ten times, and in order to get the sustainability of the celebrating atmosphere as well as the campus culture, the designer expounds the specific ways of celebration design and provide a sustainable landscape under the conditions of meeting the celebration function.
