| China has a rich natural cultural heritage. Nowadays it has become one of the most important tourism resources with the development of the social economy at home. However, The abuse of over-development of the heritage region leads to all kinds of destruction of its natural and cultural heritage; the development and the preservation of the natural heritage become conflicting forces. Therefore, how would one handle the relationship between preservation and development, as well as how would one maintain the balance of the ecological structure of the region, have always been a great concern.Through a series of case studies on the landscape design of the peripherals of "Er Wang museum" and "calligraphy academy" project, this article re-considers the theory, essences and methodology of contemporary landscape design. The whole thesis has four chapters.The first one studies the purpose and significance of the project based on the background of historical and realistic, as well as introduces the present situation both all over the world.In order to provide the theoretic basis for this project, the second one advances a theory of landscape planning in scenic area, including visual esthetic factor, protection and utilization of ecosystem, the view of sustainable development, poetic imagery and so on.Combined with the project of "Er Wang museum" and "calligraphy academy", the third chapter analysis present situation in LanTing by analyzing and summarizing the method of landscape design in scenic area.The last chapter summarizes the project we did and makes a preview for the future of the landscape design.The result maintains that the theory of landscape ecology, the sustainable development theory, the idea of Chinese historic gardens and the theory of design in scenic area, which mix together in a novelty in theory and feasible on practice. At the same time, it can satisfy the requirement of the sustainable development of scenic area, and achieve the goal of historical and cultural heritage. |
