SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) system is the English name of theData Acquisition And monitoring Control system. The application field of SCADA system isvery wide, it can be applied to power system, water supply system, petroleum, chemicalindustry and so on in the field of data acquisition and monitoring control and process control,and many other fields. It is also called the remote system in the railway power supplysystem.With the advent of the era of electrified railway and rapid development, especially therapid development of high speed railway, it makes a higher request to the reliability of powersupply. We should make centralized and unified control and management to the railwaypower supply system to enhance the ability to find and deal with accidents in time.This article, on the basis of the analysis and study of the two systems that is railwaytraction telecontrol system and railway power telecontrol system, the two systems will beintegrated into a railway power telecontrol system of operation and management workingunder a unified powerful system. This thesis is mainly about the design of the hardwaresystem which is the four key aspects of the unified system. The four aspects include thecommunication in the railway power telecontrol system, signal power monitoring, lineautomation and integrated substation automation sectors. The design of communicationsystem is mainly at the interface flexibility, to expand capacity and improve securityconfidentiality aspects;Signal power supply system is to accomplish the detection of signalpower which will be over-current, abnormal voltage and other abnormal state, fault waverecord, send out alarm signal; line automation system is mainly on the automatic blockingand continuous railway power line short-circuit fault, the small current grounding fault todetect and quickly locate the post-effective treatment, the loss of phase detection, disconnectswitches for monitoring, automatic fault isolation to short-circuit and the non-fault sectionautomatically restore power.The system after the integration and by the use of effective communication systems canachieve centralized dispatched and unified management on railway power supply system ofthe signal power, the automatic blocking and continuous railway power line and traction substation,distribution substation in the control center. Through this way thesystem can improve the reliability of power supply, it also provides a strong guarantee to therealization of the modernization of the railway network and information technology.
