Distributed generations (DGs) have brought great developments to grids because of the cleanliness, flexibility and economy. But distributed generations are difficult to control and have many negative impacts on system stability, relay protection and power quality. The contradictions between distributed generations and grid are effectively solved with the application of microgrid (MG). However, there are various kind of DGs with different and relative high investments. How to making reasonable capacity collocation for effectively arranging DGs output and meeting the loads of the network is one of the main issues in the study of microgrid.The game optimization model for DGs and loads in microgrid based on firefly algorithm is proposed. The strategies of the game players are to maximize the benefits among loads and to economically allocate the DGs capacities. The improved Shapley method is proposed to ensure the stability of a cooperative game in the league. The main research contents are listed as follows:1. The game models for DGs and loads, the electricity price function as well as the objective functions under non-cooperative and cooperative games, are established after carefully considering the relationships among DGs costs, DGs capacities, loads costs and loads electricity consumptions.2. The game model solving method based on firefly algorithm is proposed. First, the optimization process of firefly algorithm is studied. Then the application of firefly algorithm in the game iterative process is designed. The parameters of attraction and brightness in firefly algorithm are applied to update the game strategy for optimizing the objective functions. Finally, the game model solving method based on firefly algorithm is programmed by using MATLAB.3. The improved Shapley method is proposed to redistribute the total income in order to ensure the stability of cooperation on the basis of traditional Shapley value method. Two coefficients which are income fine-tuning coefficient and stability index are presented to find the optimal distribution solution. The income distribution of cooperative game has been realized by improved Shapley value method and the results of two methods are compared.Case analysis show that the proposed method can not only maximize the interest of power users in microgid, but also effectively manage the capacities of DGs.
