Logistics Center Planning In Xianing Station

According to requirement of Changsha’s development planning. In order to reduce the noise and environment pollution, and also to adapt the fast development of railway, Changsha north railway station was moved to Xianing station area from the downtown. A new freight station was built in the former Xianing station area. It’s located in Changsha Jinxia industrial park. The convenient transportation is easy to do the freight transport in the park. And it also has the convenient highway, waterway and air transport. In order to competing with other similar institution, Xianing freight logistics center was built, which is running as a logistics center. For the long-term development planning, it constantly develops and strengthens the railway freight transportation business.In this thesis, the domestic and international railway logistics development status is analyzed. And the basic concept of logistics center, development status quo of domestic and international logistics center is pointed out, the basic model of railway freight station extending to the logistics center, and the development model of railway logistics center construction in our country etc.The important part is chapter4and chapter5. In chapter4, explains the necessity of freight logistics center built. Based on the volume of goods transported data of Changsha north station during nearly8years, the SVM (Support Vector Regression) to do a forecast for future freight volume growth of Xianing logistics center is used. According to the forecast, we can further see the feasibility and necessity to build the Xianing freight logistics center.In chapter5, I based on the current policy, equipment and facilities, staff status, the feasibility for building a logistics center is analyzed. Then finding out the Xianing freight logistics center development opportunities, threats, strengths, weaknesses is tried. And the feasibility analysis for demand for logistics center construction, target function, operation organization pattern, economic and risk are done. And also the main function, operating modes, information system construction and function are studied.
