With the rapid progress of urbanization, the social structure and life style in countryside and cityare changing a lot. Since1994, to improve the living level of villagers in mountain area, Zhejiangprovince has implemented a program that encouraging villagers that living in mountain area toimmigrate to the foot of the hills. Till now, about200,000families have immigrated and the programhas got great achievement. However, the left villages in mountain area were ignored when peopleimmigrated and plenty of empty village emerged. Lands and facilities were left idle. In the other aspect,nowadays, people has taken heavier and heavier working stress, so they need more time to return tonature to relax themselves. Thus travel has been more and more popular, especially traveling tocountryside. In this social background, using the lands and facilities in “left village” to developagricultural sightseeing is absolutely a win-win choice.In this essay, the author, as a professional researcher on design of landscape and gardens, afterstudying the transformation of domestic and foreign cities cut-over land successful case andsummarizing the transformation strategies and ideas, combining with local situation and the differencesbetween the transformation of cut-over land and the left village after immigrating, finally finds apractical way to transform the left village after immigrating; then, under the guidance of some relevanttheories, the author makes out the method and mode of transforming the left village after immigrating;finally, the author applies the strategy to the practice of Galaxy Village to check the feasibility of thestrategy and improves the strategy.The research on the transformation of the left village after immigrating is only a beginning, hopingthe research can offer help to future deep research and help the transformation left villages afterimmigrating to travel destination.
