Coal-fired boiler is the key equipment of power enterprises. The structure of boiler system is complex and difficult to control. Boiler combustion system is a multi-variable coupled, nonlinear time-varying and anti-interference ability of the system is poor.The proportion of coal mass and volume of air is the key factor that influences the combustion efficiency. At present, combustion control of boiler in our country is still dominated by artificial means.The general practice of thermal power plants for combustion is after obtaining the boiler combustion parameters, the operator adjust the control parameters based on past practical experience and the judgment of combustion conditions. Then adjust the amount of coal, air and other control parameters. The control effect is different with the operator’s personal experience, the environment of working, often can not make the boiler run in the best condition, resulting in a waste of resources.In this paper, the optimized guidance value of the air quantity required for the coal combustion is given by the working conditions of the coal combustion which is based on the thermal efficiency of the online calculation and analysis results,in order to realize the optimal control of the coal combustion.Firstly, it analyzes the influence of the heat loss of boiler thermal efficiency calculation, and according to the relevant national industry standards and the conditions of a certain power plant,the formula for calculating the thermal efficiency of the boiler and the relevant operating parameters are determined to achieve online calculation of thermal efficiency of pulverized coal boiler based on inverse balance method.Then, based on the actual production data and the calculation method of thermal efficiency, divide the operating conditions of the power plant reasonably.Guidance value of fan speed of the working conditions are given under the maximum thermal efficiency.In terms of practical application:Installe the pulverized coal metering system to achieve coal accurate measurement;thereafter based on the foregoing findings, using VB and SQL databases to achieve a pulverized coal boiler combustion optimization control software.The simulation results based on historical data show that the software can effectively achieve the thermal efficiency of the online monitoring and real-time optimization guideline values are given fan speed to achieve a pulverized coal-fired boiler optimization.Some function of the software also has been applied in a power plant.The result is stable and reliable to meet the needs of site operators. Creating certain economic and social benefits for the power plant.
