Synthetic aperture radar(SAR) is a small aperture antenna with pulse technology, synthetic aperture theory of the new radar system with high resolution, than the existing radar system capabilities have been a qualitative change. SAR target image recognition can be local, and has shown great potential in remote sensing applications, to provide people with more information to help people to explore the surface of the target. SAR all weather, long range, high-resolution advantages on national defense information construction, and scientific and technological progress is of great significance to the development of the national economy, therefore, SAR technology favored by more and more countries and, it is a fast-growing field of technology.Imaging system based on SAR image principle, principle and characteristic of SAR image and wide variety of SAR image characteristics and common buildings scattered in SAR image effect is introduced in detail. And according to the acquisition method and technology, given the decomposition of rectangular buildings model methods for interpretation in SAR image characteristics of rectangular buildings. This paper presents a summary of mathematical expressions, to build buildings on the spatial dimension of information and link ages between image features, fuzzy issues into detailed structural information on image feature extraction. According to the theory, presents a new detection and reconstruction algorithm. Includes matching algorithm of feature extraction and building reconstruction based on knowledge. However, the method still has a lot of limitations, in the case of multiple scattering effects, complicated noise impact and interaction of adjacent objects and blocking situations, still not good to target buildings for reconstruction, more advanced and better tests and reconstruction algorithms will be worthy of further study, to apply in more complex scenarios.
