| With the increasing of installed capacity of wind power in the Inner Mongolia autonomous region, the access of wind power has put forward higher request to the grid of Inner Mongolia. This paper researches the problem of the access of 4 wind power farms in Baiyintala and xihaila to grid. Research Institute has carried out the grid connection study project of Tongliao Baiyintala and Xihailasitai wind farms (99MW) in order to investigate the impact of wind farm on the local grid’s voltage, load flow and power quality taking into account the type of wind turbine, and propose the technical solutions to stabilize the wind farm and power system. The main contents of this report are listed as follows:(1) Analyzing the wind farm output power characteristic and its correlation with the load, mainly includes the analysis of the correlation between the changes of the output of the wind farm and the load variation.(2) Computing load flow of power system with the integration of the wind farms in order to investigate the impact of the wind power on the transmission system load flow and bus voltage level, and recommend the appropriate compensation scheme.(3) Analyzing the influence of wind farms on short-circuit current contribution and transient stability of grid when occurring system failure after integration of wind farm, interaction between the wind farms and the local power system, the stability controlling schemes after wind farms connection.(4) Assessing power quality issues caused by the integration of the wind farm which includes computing flicking caused by the wind farm, and analyzing the possible harmonics injection caused by the wind farm. |
