Nuclear power as a type of clean and green energy is used by more and more countries,the development of nuclear energy has important significance to solve the energy crisis and environmental pollution.With the development of nuclear power,nuclear safety has become very concerned about the topic of people,especially the 2011 Japan nuelear leak incident,nuclear safety is very concerned.In order to prevent and minimize the nuclear radiation hazards to human,nuclear power plants and nuclear facility places has established a set of environmental radiation monitoring system,but during the overhaul of nuclear power plants,the nuclear radiation situation of reactor need to be monitored,currently on the market there is no similar radiation monitoring system.The regional γ radiation monitoring system that is studied in this paper is an automatic monitoring system to solve the environmental monitoring and design.The system is composed of several dosimeters,data transceiver and PC software,data transfer system is based on wireless communication mode, PC software obtains each dosimeter data through the transceiver, and monitors and manages system. Dosimeter is mainly composed of control circuit, memory circuit, and power supply circuit and clock cubit. Control circuit is designed based on MCU MSP430F449; the probe adopts a G-M tube. The main function of dosimeter is to collect and preserve data, LCD liquid crystal display, and keyboard control and sound the alarm. The dosimeter can be not only used as fixed monitoring points, but also be used as a personal dosimeter, it has the advantages of low power consumption, easy to carry, good price etc.. PC software in Visual Studio 2010 development environment is based on.net framework 4 platform, uses C# language, the system software uses the modular design, the main function is to obtain and save dosimeter data for historical inquiry. Historical data can be a graphic display, this can be observed the time trend of dose rate conveniently.This paper mainly discusses the present situation of the development of radiation monitoring system at home and abroad,nuclear radiation detection principle and technology,wireless communication,focuses on the design of software and hardware system,and finally discusses the test method and results of the system.The test results show that the instrument can monitor dose rate normally,and set the dosimeter parameters through the keyboard,and other functions are also normal.PC software can obtain data accurattly in dosimeter memory,can set parameters of dosimeter,and software functions can be also used normally.
