Huizhou traditional wooden buildings is a representative of the huizhou culture, is also valuable ancient architecture heritage, is the combination of geographical and humanity, is to bring us to think about and learn from cultural treasures. Due to variety of reasons, the huizhou traditional wooden buildings arise different degree of damage, we need to protect and renovate these precious historical heritage, but the lack of appropriate maintenance of written records in the protection, a complete guide reinforcement repair method nor the formation, thus we need to systematically summarize these reinforcement renovation methods.Firstly, this article describe the state of buildings in Huizhou, systematically summarize the reasons for the damage of huizhou traditional wooden buildings component. Progress in research mainly from the following four aspects, including, summary the repair methods of chinese ancient buildings reinforced, the repair methods of huizhou traditional wooden buildings, domestic use of new materials to repair the wooden structure reinforcement methods, wooden structure reinforcement methods in abroad.The article give reinforcement repair design programming of the huizhou traditional wooden buildings, a total of four parts of content, including testing and reliability evaluation of huizhou traditional wooden buildings, the choice of reinforcement renovation design, and reinforce the repair design, reinforcement renovation construction and acceptance; Secondly, this paper aimed at the destruction form of huizhou traditional wooden buildings, through a large number of field inspection, ask old craftsman and follow the related specifications and standards of the state, systematically summarizes the huizhou traditional architecture timber frame repair reinforcement design method, including column, beam, square-column, tou-kung and small carpentry repair of reinforcement design method, the paper also summarizes the new materials CFRP reinforcement of huizhou traditional wooden buildings, the method of repair reinforcement design method has been successfully applied in Xu Village in She Xian of Huangshan city、Da Mu Ci、Yun Xi Tang, Zha Ji of Jingxian county of Anhui province, ancient city hall stages of Yu Qing Tang in Qi Men county, and Qian Kou town of Qian Kou homes in huizhou area of Huangshan City.
