Because of the efficient processing method, broaching machine is widely used in production, especially in mass and batch production. Nowadays, hydraulic drive is the main way of power for broaching machine, the performance of the hydraulic system is directly affect the quality of broaching. The rapid development of manufacturing industry puts forward higher requirements to manufacture level, energy conservation and environmental protection. But in our country today, the design of hydraulic system in broaching machine is generally relatively backward, so it is necessary to use the hydraulic technology which keep developing and progress to further research and optimization design on the broaching machine hydraulic system. In order to improve the performance of hydraulic system and broaching stationarity, design of main circuit hydraulic system of the L6120 horizontal broaching machine is optimized. A new system scheme and back pressure control method is put forward and analyzed by simulation, the design on main hydraulic system of horizontal broaching and research on broaching stationarity is completed.This paper expounds the working principle of the hydraulic broaching machine and the design principle of the hydraulic system in detail. Combined with proportion servo technology, the main circuit of the hydraulic system of horizontal broaching machine used the cartridge valve as the main components and application of volume speed-modulating controlled by electro-hydraulic proportional servo valve is designed, and the main components in the designed system are calculated and selected. The original level and system level simulation model of hydraulic system is Build by the software AMESim.The main hydraulic system performance of horizontal broaching machine are analyzed and validated through the AMESim, emphatically studied the impact on the roaching speed control and the broaching stability of the designed hydraulic system from the mainly originals and parameters of the speed control system.In order to solve the broach “kick” problem arise from load mutation, a kind of high frequency cartridge back pressure valve based on broaching stationarity is designed. It’s mathematical theory models and AMESim simulation model is established, and analyzed the impact on the usability of high frequency cartridge back pressure valve from its main parameters by make simulation in the AMESim platform,and it’s parameters are optimized.Used the high frequency cartridge back pressure valve in the main circuit of the designedhorizontal broaching machine hydraulic system, the automatic control of back pressure according to the change of broaching speed is realized. It not only has obvious inhibition effect of the broach "kick" but also reduces the burden of the system, a well simulation result had been achieved finally, and provided a theoretical basis for its practical application.
