Dushu Lake Campus Landscape Design Of Rainwater Harvesting

With the development of the society, water shortage has become an important factor in China’s urban. Campus, as a subsystem of urban ecosystem and a special environment unit, it will have an enormous social exemplary and a leading role for the use pattern and use efficiency of resource and energy. Through scientific management, rainwater can not only be used as an effective resource, but also to create a rich ecological landscape with a combination of landscape design, to create a certain economic and ecological benefits.This paper uses Dushu Lake Campus as the study subject, on the basement of rainwater harvesting landscape design analysis of relevant theories, combines with the successful case analysis about rainwater harvesting landscape design of the domestic and the foreign, to analyze the situation of Suzhou Dushu Lake Campus Landscape Design of rainwater harvesting, and point out the shortcomings and the advantages in the rainwater harvesting landscape design of Dushu Lake Campus, then analyze and summarize the general problem of campus stormwater treatment currently. By reference to Stormwater management techniques in the development countries to propose appropriate solutions. According to the research of this paper,to provide reference for the use of rainwater and design methods in landscape design,and provide some evidence for the stormwater management of other schools.
