The Analysis Of Sand Piles Reinforcing Effect To The Soft Foundation

Base on the engineering practice and field tests, the characteristic of soft soil foundation reinforced by sand pile composite foundation are studied in the paper. The author analyzes the standard value of bearing capacity of foundation soil and composite foundation, and the compactness of pile. Major contents and conclusions of this thesis are the followings:First, the author analyzes the principle and characteristic of sand pile composite foundation, especially displacement function, drainage function and compaction function of sand pile. It is also investigated in the paper that the settlement of sand pile composite foundation reinforced in soft soil foundation.Secondly, the design, construction and quality inspection method of soft soil foundation reinforced by sand pile are introduced in the paper. This kind of composite foundations are applied in Danfeng Railway Station of Xian—Nanjing railway. The inspections mainly comply with Standard Penetration Test and Heavy Dynamic Penetration Test.Thirdly, according to the inspection result of Standard Penetration Test and Heavy Dynamic Penetration Test, analysis of the bearing capacity of foundation soil and composite foundation is taken, which are reinforced by sand pile. Then, the author evaluates the reinforcing effect of this kind of engineering piles. The study results mentioned above has been taken in to application. Meanwhile these results also can be reference for similar projects.By analyzing the calculation and case study, the author arrives at conclusion as follows. The bearing capacity standard value of the soil around the piles is increased, and the capacity of composite foundation meets the requirement of design.
