In ancient times, residential lighting and ventilation are come from the nature, so the ancients are very concerned about the position and facing angle of houses. But in modern society, people can use household appliances change indoor phosgene environment, so people no longer rely solely on the outdoor environment. Such as when the indoor illumination is insufficient, we can use the light bulb for lighting; when the indoor air quality is bad, we can open the air purifier, air conditioning and other household electrical appliances to improve; but the subsequent is a lot of energy consumption. At present, China’s building energy consumption accounts for 27% of total energy consumption, in the existing 40 billion square meters building, more than 90% belong to high energy consumption buildings. Therefore, the promotion of building energy efficiency is to follow the strategy of sustainable development, realize the goal of national energy conservation planning is indispensable.Aiming at these problems, this paper use household environment as a platform, use the equipment energy consumption as the research object in the environment, use the low-power ZigBee wireless communication technology, combine with the energy-saving control strategy based on the cost decision making, designed the smart home environment monitoring and control system. On the one hand, this system can provide comfortable and healthy living environment for people, on the other hand, the system uses a variety of energy saving measures to adjust the indoor environment, reduce the energy consumption, and improve the operation efficiency.This system mainly consists of three subsystems:environment monitoring system, control center system and environment regulation system. Environment monitoring system for real-time acquisition of indoor and outdoor environment a variety of data, such as temperature, humidity, illuminance and PM2.5.Control center system using the cost decision making algorithm analysis the difference of indoor and outdoor environment data, formulate reasonable control strategy, make full use of natural resources to adjust indoor environment, achieve the goal of energy saving. Environment monitoring system implement of the control center system command, according to the command to adjust indoor environment to standard state. Control system is composed of traditional home appliances with an infrared interface, including air conditioning, humidity regulator, electric curtains, brightness control LED lights, air purifier and exhaust fan, we can use infrared learning module control household appliances, don’t need to secondary development household appliances control circuit; such doing can effective use of existing resources, not only save the cost of development, but also reduces the difficulty in the promotion of smart home system.We simulate the home environment in the laboratory, through the final testing, to verify the system can adjust the indoor environment to the best state. In the process of regulation, system using outdoor natural resources effectively, realize the energy saving of the smart home. The system has certain practical value, for the energy-saving design of smart home system provides a new train of thought.
