The Study Of The Relationship Between The Index And Form In The Planning Of Residential House

This paper aims to tackle the issue of the monotonous and repetitive form of residence communities in our country, and the lack of effective control of those forms due to the detailed regulatory planning. Hopefully by establishing a comprehensive index-control system, the situation will be improved and the problem of the stereotyped cities will be solved in a certain extent.First of all, the paper outlines the related content in our detailed regulatory planning and urban design practices, compares them with planning codes and indexes which stand the similar roles in Germany and the United States, thus to understand the problems of the detailed regulatory planning in our country. Then the development of our residence community after the founding of New China is recalled to help get a deeper understanding of the issues of current community forms. Above is just the elaboration of background knowledge. Paper will mainly focus on the following two parts:the first is observing the role of the various indexes have on community forms through the simulation experiments; the second is the case presentation of using the index-control system to manipulate residence forms. These two parts will describe the construction and application of the index-control system in detail.
