The behavior of excavation for metro station is affected by its geological environment greatly. Generally, high compressibility, high water content, high void ration and low strength are the overall characteristics of soft soil stratum mainly with silt and sand. Critical performance for supporting structure is demanded especially in aforementioned stratum, as whose strength and structural properties can originate large horizontal displacement of enclosure structure. Furthermore, narrow or profiled plane is mostly belonged to deep pits for metro engineering. During construction, stress and deformation of support structure is different in each part, spatial effect is obvious.Taking Citizen Center transfer station of Hangzhou metro line 4 as background, this paper focuses on mechanic and deformational function of supporting structure inside silt and sand stratum, the following research work are carried out. Firstly, make research summary involving regional engineering geology, supporting technology for foundation pit and numerical analysis; discuss calculation methods for supporting structure. Secondly, survey the monitoring arrangement of this project, and analyze the monitoring data to obtain deformation law of supporting structure. Six representative retaining walls are selected for horizontal displacement analysis comparatively, and universal deformation law of enclosure structure under each construction stage is discussed. The paper expounds theoretical form corresponding to curve from monitoring. Also, cause analysis is proposed about similarities and differences between theory and monitoring. Thirdly, three-dimensional numerical method is taken to simulate the stress and deformation status of supporting structure under different process, which is considered as a coordinative system. And then compare calculation results with monitoring data to verify reference value of computation.
