With the rapid development of economic and urbanization, the available land resource in the city especially around business concentration areas less and less, so it is very important to develop and use underground resources reasonably. As the underground space is widely used, the design and construction of the foundation pit supports excavation becomes a crucial problem nowadays in the significant constructions. Although foundation p it supporting technology has been improved, there are still some accidents which are resulted by it. In order to put an end to these accidents, researching foundation pit supporting technology thoroughly is significant.In this essay, I study the current situation, advantages and importance of foundation pit supporting technology. I collect a great quantity information about Changchun Liwang’s general situation, geological conditions, surrounding and so on, then make a survey of it and study it deeply. I ch oose the fittest foundation pit supporting type for this project based on all kinds of foundation pit supporting’s features and applicative conditions. After analyzing and discussing this project by calculating soil pressure and all programs’ advantages and disadvantages. I choose the best one which I study its feasibility and stability. In order to guarantee this project’s feasibility, safety, economy and rationality, I optimize the program. At the same time I participate in the design and construction of the foundation pit supports excavation, I witness its safety stability and economy. We can know the excavation of foundation pit’s disadvantages by the analytic results of the numerical simulation, soil pressure and changing in shifting. We also can check resistant heave stability. Since many emergencies may occur such as ground overload and rainfall, we should take measures in time to reduce losses and prevent them happen again. In this process, we can gather experience which is useful and meaningful in pr oviding reasonable advices for subsequent projects.
