User Experience Oriented Heavy Truck Cab Interior Design

In recent years, the development of the domestic logistics transportation is becoming faster and faster. Great achievement has been made in the field of transportation, however, there are a lot of problems at the same time. As a modern logistics equipment, Heavy trucks has had a profound impact on all aspects of the national economy. But as the domestic heavy truck cab interior design seldom considers the driver’s factors and demand in design, heavy truck drivers normally suffer from cervical spondylosis and lumbar pain, which has great influence on the driver’s physiology and psychology.This topic from the perspective of industrial design, the heavy truck cab interior design as the research object, using user experience design method of the current popular Internet analyze how to apply this method to the heavy truck cab interior design practice.Because the cab interior products and Internet virtual product is very different, the user experience design method can not be directly used cabin interior design. According to the characteristics of the heavy truck cab interior products, this paper is divided into four parts to design, including user research, user requirement analysis, product experience design practice and experience evaluation.User research and experience design practice are key parts in this paper. The topic adopts several user research methods, including data collection, questionnaire survey and user interviews. From the sensory layer, behavior layer to the reflection layer progressive sequence analyze the demand of users in the process of driving heavy truck.Then, the user needs to design requirements, using industrial design process method analyzes characteristics of user behavior, use situation and product function model and then putting the result into the heavy truck cab interior design process to put forward the solution. In product design practice part, I analyze the characteristics of the cabin interior, with the combination of the seat and the sleeper for the designing point. According to the demand of the users and collecting data using the methods of brainstorming form the preliminary product design programs, and then based on the original design scheme, combined with man-machine deep the design scheme.Finally, in the completion of product design, the design result is experienced by means of questionnaire.By analyzing the experience evaluation results, it can be seen that the user experience design method for heavy truck cab interior product design has played a very good guidance role. Based on user experience design theory, the heavy truck cab interior design can provide users (drivers) with more secure, convenient, comfortable and pleasant experience, achieving a more satisfied positive experience.
