AMT plays a more and more important role in the field of commercial vehicles and heavy-duty automotive. Therefore, it is very necessary to install or upgrade the actuator without changing the traditional gear mechanical transmission. The ultimate goal of this project is to finish the mechatronics transformation of the rail fork gearbox (XRHGF5-90). It is converted into electrical control pneumatic shift without changing the original gear mechanical transmission.Firstly, this paper introduces the development situation of AMT at home and abroad. The basic composition and working principle of the system are introduced in this paper. This paper combines the actual situation of different driving styles, describes its advantages and disadvantages and leads to the main content of the subject. Secondly, this paper illustrates the basic principle of the electronic pneumatic shift system. This topic describes the drive system of commercial vehicle and the working principle of the gearbox and synchronizer were introduced. Finally, this paper describes the basic structure and principle of the rail fork gearbox, which is ready for the advance of actuator design scheme.In the overall design, this paper elaborates several important design requirements and lists many possible solutions. Then I have obtained the final plan by comparing. This paper exhaustively describes the various components of the gear shifting actuator. At the end of the paper shows the two-dimensional and three-dimensional structure and model diagram of the machinery designed in this paper. This paper completed the kinematical simulation model of shift actuator in order to analyze the performance of institutions and work out the optimization parameters. The corresponding curve analysis was drawn and the theoretical value of important parameters was determined.This paper generalizes what has been done in the thesis at last. And it Points out some problems and subsequent optimization direction of the gear shifting actuator, which is preparing for the marketization of this product. The paper has a certain theoretical significance and practical significance for improving dynamic performance and shift quality of the gearshift actuator of AMT which is applied on commercial vehicles and heavy-duty vehicle.
