Research On Optimization Design Of Medical ECG Machine Based On User Experience

Along with the people living standard’s enhancement and rhythm of life’s quickening, the incidence of cardiovascular disease is rising and becoming one of the top three global diseases. The diagnosis and therapy of cardiovascular diseases has been attached great importance to the medical profession. Timely understanding the situation of the heart and the accurate extraction of ECG signals have very important significance for prevention and treatment. Currently, most of companies and research institutions for the ECG machine research and development work are focused on the technical and functional level. However, the research for the existing problems in the process and the user experience of ECG machine operation is relative less,The users of ECG machine are mostly medical staff, while medical staff belong to the class of people who work with heavy working load, high pressure and strength. We need to pay attention to their daily operating habits, work environment and so on, and are able to understand the relationship between user and machine, the user and the environment. Finally, the user would possess the high efficiency and high satisfaction as operating the system.In this paper, based on the relevant theory of user experience, the design of ECG machine is carried out from the user’s view. In the process of this design work, the investigation of present situation of using the ECG machine is applied by observation and interview with users, and package the users, analyze user’s need in depth, establish the character model and make corresponding user analysis according to the typical users. Simultaneously, the ECG machine has been selected as the design object. The corresponding design and optimization scheme have been launched according to the shortages of the shape, size, equipment, operation interface and the way of using of ECG machine. The ECG machine with the advantages of simple operation, fully function, and easy to understand and use has been designed. In this paper, the design of ECG machine adopts the theory of user experience, which provides a useful reference for the design and development of ECG in the market future.
