The heavy haul railway in china has made rapid development, but railway tunnel constructed in early has generally disease problems, especially the bedding disease is the most serious, the diseases have seriously affected the normal operation of the train. Based on the Jun Dushan tunnel of Datong Qinhuangdao line, the paper research deeply the investigation of diseases、reasons of diseases、reinforcement treatment and monitoring system and warning threshold of bedding vibration. The main research conclusions are as follows:(1) Many reasons caused the bedding disease of heavy haul railway tunnel, the vibration load of heavy haul railway and the water’s beating effect is the main reason.(2) The reinforcement must follow the principle that combining with grouting reinforcement and drainage, draining the water is the key of remediation.(3) This paper developed a system about monitoring of bedding disease, the system can overcome many disadvantage factors well, such as the less skylight time、the bad environment in tunnel、many monitoring objects、long distance of transmission and the big data.(4) The results of the long-term monitoring data show that the bedding is stable and safe now, the bedding diseases has been effectively controlled, aqueduct is very good drainage measure.(5) Based on the measured data and the numerical simulation analysis of FEM, this paper proposed two level warning system. when the vertical vibration displacement amplitude exceeds 8 mm, it is the first level warning, when the vertical vibration displacement amplitude exceeds 10 mm, it is the second level warning, different warning level should take corresponding measures to ensure the safety of train.
