Under the background of current market economy, the increasingly fierce competition in all kinds of industries, especially in the national policy guidance that green homes, energy efficient, low carbon environmental protection are strongly advocated, various entities must speed up the update transformation to keep pace with the trend of the age.1.8 million tons/year gasoline refining facility of Yan ’An Petrol Plant(abbreviated as “S- Zorb project” in the next text) is a key project of admitted by Shaanxi provincial state-owned assets supervision. it is regarded as the life project of the Yanchang petroleum group oil group due to only national Ⅳ standard gasoline could be produced that products sales are able to be guaranteed. The general construction of the project has been contracted by Shaanxi chemical construction engineering co., LTD. There is a time limitation for the back door shut up(time) of qualified products of the project. The engineering is different from ordinary ones because it characterized in heavy task, more and complicate construction unit participated, as well as limited space for the scene of the construction. All factors greatly increased the difficulty of the project management. Reference the experience for other similar project management, research scientific and rational management ideas and methods, combine with the characteristics and difficulties of this project, we focus on probe to solve the project schedule management, handle complementary relationship between the progress, cost and quality.This study employed the systematic management of project, expounded the universality of all kinds of construction projects. Problems were derived according to the particularity of S- Zorb project, existing schedule management issues were proposed and new management ideas were tried to research. It will schedule management as the main research direction, on the basis of the already verified management methods, control the schedule for the examination and approval, implementation, rectifying and a series of progress management, and with the S- Zorb project schedule management problems as the breakthrough point, to formulate the schedule management of effective measures, to ensure that project can be in accordance with the requirements of the contract and group company of high quality on schedule to complete all the construction content device before driving.This paper integrated project management theory and the actual situation and problems, will formulate the effective schedule management plan for the S- Zorb project and other related projects in the future direction and all the results will provide a scientific and effective management, has a certain guidance and reference value.
