With the rapid development of China’s transportation business, the pace of development of highway is also growing fast, especially in the form of asphalt concrete pavement as the main highway pavement structure, the proportion of high-grade highway is also growing. In order to solve the phenomenon of the asphalt pavement premature damaged, we propose to study the fatigue behavior of asphalt pavement and material fatigue parameters area. In the fatigue behavior of asphalt pavement materials and structures for the research goal, considering the influence of load and temperature on the pavement structure, thereby hoping to explore the design of asphalt pavement more desirable method of helpful. We made the following main tasks:① Introduction asphalt pavement fatigue theory and concluded that fatigue of asphalt pavement for several models, including the phenomenological method, dissipated energy fatigue and fracture mechanics model fatigue model.② Marshall Method Determination AC-25 asphalt choose three grading in the range of specification, a range near the lower limit of the rough grading grading(Ⅰ type) and the other to take a range of gradation value(Ⅱ type), the third take close to an upper limit of the fine gradation gradation(Ⅲ type).③ Above asphalt splitting strength test specimens were given a not freeze and thaw splitting strength test results.④ AC-25Ⅰ type of asphalt mixture is not thaw specimens at different temperatures, different stress ratios, different load conditions were splitting fatigue test; given not freeze asphalt splitting fatigue and fatigue curve equation, including double and single log-on number two cases.⑤ Influence of freezing and thawing on the fatigue behavior of asphalt concrete. Given without thawing and after AC-25Ⅰ type, Ⅱ type, Ⅲ type of asphalt concrete specimen fatigue curve equation and fatigue after a thaw, including double and single log-on number two cases.⑥ Analysis of fatigue properties of asphalt concrete when the difference whether the freezing and thawing.⑦ Influence of temperature on the fatigue properties of asphalt concrete. AC-25Ⅰ splitting strength of asphalt concrete test of the resulting decreases with increasing temperature. AC-25Ⅰ fatigue parameters of asphalt concrete varies with temperature, the higher the temperature, the smaller the characteristic parameter values, the closer to the bottom of fatigue curves.⑧ Fatigue failure mechanism of asphalt concrete analysis.⑨ Summary of factors affecting the performance of asphalt concrete fatigue damage. External factors loading conditions include: load control mode, loading frequency, load waveform, load intermittent time. Internal factors, namely, the nature of the material itself include: Mixes stiffness, pitch variety and amount of porosity mix, aggregates and other surface properties.For research on asphalt concrete at different loads and different temperatures, and fatigue characteristics or without freeze-thaw conditions it is important to work through the above.
