We usually using rutting test and dynamic stability of asphalt mixture to test the high temperature stability of asphalt mixture, and the ability to resist deformation, but the test results and actual production is not in good correlation, so in this paper, uniaxial penetration test and dynamic creep test are used by different types of asphalt mixture, and through the test results,study the relationship of the two test results with the temperature change,compare the two kinds of test results, to guide the practical engineering application.Adopting the SMA- 13, AC- 20, AC- 25, ATB- 25 this four kinds of gradation of asphalt mixture, using the method of drilling core sample from the plate to obtain specimens, considering 15 ℃, 20 ℃,30 ℃, 40 ℃, 50 ℃and 60 ℃ this six kinds of temperature, to study the nature of the the asphalt mixture. Before testing, controling the raw materials the core sample porosity, to ensure that the test process and the speciment itself will not affect the results.This paper studies the differences between the different gradations and different temperatures of ability to resist deformation, set up the relationship between the dynamic creep modulus changing with temperature, the relationship between shear strength changing with temperature, the relationship between penetration modulus changing with temperature, the relationship between creep modulus with shear strength and dynamic creep modulus with uniaxial penetration modulus under different temperature. By the test results can be seen that the asphalt mixture creep modulus, shear strength and d ynamic penetration modulus is change with the change of temperature in power function relationship, and the correlation coefficient is high. Uniaxial penetration test and dynamic creep test has a strong correlation, in the study of asphalt mixture high temperature resistance to deformation and shear resistance ability can replace each other, this provide a basis and convenience for us to research the asphalt mixture performance through these two kinds of test method in the future.
