As an important foundation,highways connect plenty of regions which play an important role in cultural exchanges, economic development, national unity, progressive ideas and other aspects. In recent years,highways play an important role in the following aspects: rapid development of economy in the southwest,large amount of population movement and the input & output of energy. Southwest montanic area is the high incidence area of debris flow in China,especially Dongchuan area which the project is located in. There are at least hundreds of debris flows in this region,many of which are large in scale. They have high frequency of outbreak and serious harm. Debris flow has a great influence on the regional highway construction.This thesis starts from the research of debris flow to the design of slope protection, based on the survey and design project of Gongshan(Kunming) to Dongchuan G85 Highway.This thesis attempts to compare slope protection methods and then design the slope protection in the phase of highway design,according to highway line and way of passing through,and considering the impact of debris flow on the highway in advance.Firstly, the auther analysed the form factor and the hazard characteristics of the debris flow that in the project area, and have a draw of the primary partition and the distribution of the debris flow. Then I have an election in the existing models at home and abroad, elect the fuzzy hierarchy which used to the project, adjust the parameters and values which are based on existing data, and have an evaluate on the risk of the debris flow. The flow of the debris flow includes the flood flow and the solid material which is carried by the flood. We can calculate the total amount of debris flow through the calculation of the peak flow of the debris flow. The total amount of the debris flow is an important parameter for the forecast of the scope of the debris flow, and also you can predict the shape of the debris flow deposit area. Finally, raising the control techniques targetly which is based on the integration of the prevention and control, with four hazard models of the debris flow, and regard the prevention of the debris flow as an indirect measure, and then have an comprehensive treatment with the debris flow.Through this study, we regard the debris flow as the important factor of the slope protection of the highway, propose the mentoring relationship between the slope protection of the highway and the risk and the scope of the debris flow, provide a reference for the design of protection for the practical engineering, and also establish an integrated and comprehensive program with prevention and treatment. The program is for the purpose of the protection of the road slope.
