Early water damage of asphalt pavement in our country is very prominent, and universal. Although the asphalt pavement water damage related to many factors, but the porosity(compaction degree) is one of the key factors that influence rubber asphalt mixture water stability. So effect of porosity or mixture of asphalt pavement water damage has been attracting the attention of the researchers.In recent years, research on the asphalt pavement water damage prevention measures in improving the use of rubber asphalt pavement water damage issues are considered to have a significant effect, so get widespread attention, combined with production of waste rubber tires along with the increasing of car ownership, to solve a large number of waste rubber tires of environmental pollution problems have become increasingly prominent and rubber modified asphalt binder material as pavement exhibits good road performance, prompting the rubber asphalt pavement(or mix)applications is generating climax. But the application of rubber asphalt pavement(or mix) is not without problems, such as the rubber asphalt is typically used asphalt surface layer, depending on the use and function, rubber can adopt different gradations,different graded rubber asphalt for porosity requirements should be different, in order to meet the high temperature performance and water stability requirements, different gradations of rubber asphalt mixture porosity should have a reasonable range. So the study of rubber asphalt mixture with different porosity affects the performance of the right path, and thus corresponds to propose different graded rubber asphalt material reasonable ratio requirements, to guide the rubber asphalt mix design and pavement construction which has important theoretical and practical significance of the degree of compaction.In view of this, this topic mainly studies different porosity on the influence of rubber asphalt mixture water damage under the same mineral mixture gradation,and put forward the corresponding reasonable porosity range, to reduce the probability of water damage on asphalt pavement and improve the performance of pavements. First,according to the test specifications, through laboratory tests, the raw materials used for the test should be detected. Second, determine the optimum asphalt content of fivedifferent graded rubber asphalt mixture by the Marshall test method. According to the optimum asphalt content, we can make different porosity of Marshall and rutting specimens. Then in turn conduct freeze-thaw splitting test and splitting test, rutting test,immersion rutting test. Finally, the data of thaw splitting strength ratio and dynamic stability should be processed, analyzing the relationship between porosity and water stability of asphalt pavement.Studies have shown that the same mineral mixture gradation, the rubber asphalt mixture of water stability are different in different porosity, the rubber asphalt mixture of water stability is good in a reasonable range, which can provide a reference for the future of asphalt pavement construction quality Control. The appropriate porosity is essential for the rubber asphalt pavement. Only when the appropriate porosity design,early water damage of asphalt concrete pavement, high temperature rutting and other damage, will be reduced to a minimum. |
