Study On The Nature Of The Asphalt Pavement Recycling Material

During long service period of the asphalt pavement, due to the influence of vehicle loadsand the natural factors, the asphalt binder may become aged, and the aggregate may be worndown and then become thinner, which may lead to relatively troublesome diseases of pavements and even influence the performance of the asphalt pavement. In China, many new-built high-grade roads and municipal roads are facing or wil face maintenance tasks of the asphalt pavement, and they are transited from the period of“Focusing on the construction”to the period of “Focusing on both of the construction and the maintenance”. In order to settle problems of the environmental pollution and the ecological damage caused during the maintenance process of roads in our country and reduce the consumption of resources, the recycling technich of the asphalt pavement are gradually gaining attentention. The hot recycling technich of the asphalt pavement has relatively wide scope of application and renewable technologies in the nature of the analysis of raw materials accounted for a large proportion. This paper includes two aspects,one analyzed in terms of the nature of the raw materials, as well as in the extraction process of recycling old asphalt, extraction recovery test for certain research methods.First, in the measurement RAP material particles was analyzed, consists of four parts, namely, sieve analysis, extraction analysis, regrind density analysis, and detecting the recovery of bitumen.analysis of impurities in the raw materials.by separating the extraction test, the distribution of old asphalt for analysis.before extraction, aggregate gradation changes, the old material for analysis.Secondly, this paper analyzed extraction recovery test methods for asphalt.Study the impact of slag on Asphalt Performance. By studying these three aspects, should be made in the extraction of asphalt attention. Test methods for recovery of bitumen by microwave analysis of microwave heating abshen method which method is applied, there are certain feasibility.
