Research On Mining Wasteland Regeneration Under The Perspective Of Landscape Architecture

Due to the adjustment of industrial structure, exhaustion of mineral resources and economic transformation, a large number of mining wasteland emerged in China, bringing a series of environmental and social problems. By using the methods of literature research, case analysis, field investigation and practice verification, the article comes up with the design framework of mining wasteland regeneration, which let wasteland fulfill the new value of landscape, ecology and culture.At the beginning of the article, it puts forward the planning strategies of regeneration mode, space planning, ecological restoration and cultural succession at the master plan level, as well as the regeneration method of five typical landscapes of mining wastelands at the partition planning level. At last, by setting the design of Taiyuan Xishan national mine park as example, it carries on the further analysis of former theory. The research shows the design of mining wasteland regeneration under the view of landscape architecture should base on regional characteristic and site potential. Meanwhile, the article is trying to prove that high quality open space which based on the respect and utilization to the characteristics of mining landscape, will rebuild the disconnected relationship between human beings and earth.
