With the rapid development of national economy,the infrastructure in China reached a new peak.As a mountainous country,especially in the Southwest of China,excavating soil and rock is a frequent work in the construction of roads.And then the stability of slope problem comes along.A large number of data appears that slope instability failure occurs in the weak layers.The point of this paper is to discuss a special layered rock about Carbonaceous Mudstone and how this kind of layered rock works by affecting the stability of slope.This kind of strata is widely distributed in GuiZhou province,and we find that it varies greatly in different conditions, it’s easy to be mistaken for a stable layer of illusion.So it is necessary to research on it.In this paper, with the XiaRong high-speed seventh contract section K46+830-K46+980 of the left slope as the research object.Through literature review,field investigation,laboratory experiment and software simulations to analyse the geology,hydrology condition factors.landslide factors and then to discuss the shear strength parameters of this layered rock.By using MIDAS GTS software, we make the slope as a model to be analysed on the natural conditions and rainfall conditions. At the end of this paper,the treatment method of this slope are proposed.In this paper,the main research contents are as follows:(1) At first we summarize the engineering geological conditions of slope and the general situation of the project by data collection,field investigation and the basis analysis of slope region,topography,geological structure,hydrogeological conditions and so on.(2) Through the indoor experiment, the composition of the sliding zone carbonaceous mudstone samples and undisturbed carbonaceous mudstone sampleswere analyzed; Analysis of the shear strength parameters in different water saturation, thus summed up the characteristics of Carbonaceous Mudstone.(3) The factors of influencing the slope are summarized by combining the conclusion between the field survey and indoor experiment.(4) Summarizing the slope failure mode such as single plane sliding, arc sliding,are-plane sliding and double plane sliding.On this basis,we determine the failure mode of the slope we discuss in this paper.(5) At first,the anti-inference method is being introduced.And then to discuss whether this slope can be used by the method.Comparing the Shear strength parameters by anti-inference method and indoor experiment,we could figure out the more accurate values.(6) The basic principle and operation flow of MIDAS GTS software is introduced.By using GTS,the paper discuss the slope’s stability in natural condition and rainfall conditions.(7) At the end of this paper,according to know all kinds of supporting measure’s characteristics and the scope of application,two way are summarized and could be used.At last, Combining with the actual situation,we chose the better one from this two.
