The Air condition system of modern aircraft not only provides the basic environment for pilots and flight attendants, but also keeps the aircraft cabin temperature, pressure, humidity in a comfortable range and ventilates the electronic equipment compartment, in order to ensure the comfort of passengers and the normal operation of the aircraft electronic equipment. With the highly automation of the air condition system, the failure of the system becomes more and more complicated and systematic. Unsolved faults could be very dangerous to the aircraft and flight participants. Because of the complexity of the air condition system and diversity of the fault, the key point is focused on finding accurate and efficient troubleshoot method.First of all, this thesis expounds the development of the air conditioning system and troubleshooting, and introduces the environment parameters of the civil aircraft, such as the cockpit, cabin temperature, altitude pressure etc.Then, the thesis discusses the composition of air conditioning system, studies on the principle of the pneumatic system、the pressure control system、temperature control system and air distribution system and focuses on the control analysis of the pressure control system and temperature control system. Through building the mathematical model of temperature control system and pressure control system,we obtain the system transfer function. Through transferring the parameters and analyzing the response of the system, we have a deeper understanding to the principle of the air condition system.Finally, the thesis gets the example of the troubleshooting for air condition system and point out the problems of traditional fault elimination method. The paper introduces the method of Fault Tree Analysis which could calculate all the parts of the important degree. Practice has proved that the fault tree analysis method can greatly improve the efficiency of aircraft troubleshooting. This paper can improve the efficiency of troubleshooting. It is value to be referred and extended.
