DC-DC converter is mainly using modern electronic technology to control the turn-on and turn-off time radio of the switch, so as to achieve the purpose of DC chopper and controlling the output voltage. Pulse width modulation technology is a classic control technology of switching mode power supply, which used the PWM wave to control the switch tube, but its circuit is complex, and the system anti-interference ability is poor. Pulse train(PT) control technology is a new type of switching mode power supply appeared in recent years, comparing with PWM control technology, its control circuit is more simple, and the system anti-interference ability is stronger, when applied to discontinuous conduction mode(DCM) DC-DC converter has an ideal performance, but for continuous conduction mode(CCM), it may lead to some control problems. So the load capacity of PT controlled converter is insufficient. To solve this problem, a new PT controlled pseudo-continuous conduction mode(PCCM) converter is studied in this article. It can improve the load capacity of converter by combining the new circuit topology and PT control technology. The principle of PT controlled PCCM converter is introduced and the waveforms of MATLAB simulations are presented in this article. Then the hardware circuit design based on DSP and the experiment results are given to prove the interrelated conclusion. The main research results of this paper are as follows:(1) Analyzed the capacity of PT controlled pseudo-continuous conduction mode(PCCM) converter.(2) The simulation model of PT controlled pseudo-continuous conduction mode(PCCM) converter was built by MATLAB so as to observe the waveforms, then to prove the correctness of the theoretical analysis and the feasibility of the experiment.(3) Designed the hardware circuit based on DSP according to the theory of simulation model, and then design the software programming on CCStudio v3.3 platform.(4) Download the program to the DSP development board through simulator and connected the board with the hardware circuit to start the research.(5) Compared the waveforms of the hardware circuit research and the simulation to verify the correctness of the theoretical analysis and experimental results, and finally come to the conclusions.
