Because of the influence of national policy for energy conservation and emissions reduction,shut down small plants and build large plants have become the inevitable trend of electric power industry,and this will make the contradictions of the peak-valley gap increasing greatly. In order to maintain the stable operation of power grids, more and more thermal power plants will be built as peaking pants.So,it is important to design an online monitor system of steam turbine rotor life loss for its safe operation.Regard the No.l steam turbine rotor of Datang TuoKeTuo power plant as the object of the research.Introduce the mathematical model of temperature field and stress field of the FEM, then use the FEM to develop a mathematic model of the rotor.Besides,the transient temperature field and thermal stress field of steam turbine in the process of cold start-up, temperature start-up,hot start-up and sliding-parameter shutdown was analyzeed by the ANSYS general finite element comput-ation software,set the the spot of maximum stress as the monitoring area and emulating calculation of the area on temperature and thermal stress are also given.Researched the fatigue damage and Creep damage of materials, Fitting out the logical relationship among all parameters which are collected from the operation process of the plant, work out the fatigue loss and creep loss of the rotor by the calculation,the sum of them is the total loss of the rotor.At last, on the basis of the result, we choose the Lab VIEW software which is wide applicability to design an online monitor system and introduce it detailedly. The system has many functions such as date collection,date analysis,on-line date processing,historical date inquiry,temperature and thermal stress alarm,etc.It can provide an effective reference to optimize operation of the thermal power unit.
