The acceleration of urbanization process has changed the original natural hydrological condition.The flood disaster, the shortage of water resources and environmental water quality pollution have become major problems hindering the urban sustainable development. "The sponge city" changed the traditional thinking of rainwater resources from "drainage". The urban landscape as an ecological sponge in the city which give full play to its role of rainwater storage. This paper aims to expand the method to solve the rainwater problems by urban green spaces and create a good urban ecological environment..Through the comparative analysis of the developing process and related theories in domestic and foreign rainwater resources, combining with the problems of urban green spaces construction in our country, the rainwater resources landscape application principles are put forward. Research on landscape application of rainwater resources from the macroscopic planning and microscopic technology two aspects. At the macroscopic planning level, green spaces construction should not only improve the relevant management system and legislation system, but also combining urban drainage pipeline system, and construct the ecological pattern of urban green landscape. At the microscopic technology level, rainwater facilities should be classified according to the transmission path of rainwater, and analyze the rainwater from function, structure, design points, landscape construction and applicability.Based on the above two aspects of research, green spaces closely related to urban areas such as park green space, residential green space, campus green space, and road green space, combining with the landscape application points of rainwater resources was proposed according to the characteristics of different types of landscape and supplemented by cases in detail.In the construction of park, green space should combine with a variety of rainwater utilization facilities to form a perfect rainwater flood utilization system. Residential green space has more obvious features of "point, line, face".It can separately combine with penetration facilities, counseling facilities and storage facilities.Campus green space should be fully combined with the building. Rain gardens and green roofs should expand to outdoor classroom, further promoting the concept of sustainable development.Road green space has many forms.Porous pavement and vegetated swales were used to reduce surface runoff.
