China is a country with the largest number of dam in the world. Among the built dam, the number of earth and rockfill dam take more than 90 percent.For the reason that the materials of earth and rockfill dam is unconsolidated, The constitutive model is complex.There exists some problems,suchi as stability, seepage, settlement, and scour problems.By strengthening safety monitoring of earth and rockfill dam and doing some scientific analysis of monitoring data, It will be easier to predict and control the safety of the dam.After the analyzing the monitoring data of the inversion, we can determine the physical and mechanical parameters of dam and foundation, and feedback positive analysis model.Based on that taking the earth dam settlement monitoring as the research object, this paper focus on the model about settlement monitoring which includes the initial omission settlement.After the prototype observation data inversion of earth dam settlement curve equation parameters the accuracy of the positive analysis has been improved.The main works done include these:(1) In this paper, a new method based on Hybrid Genetic Algorithm to calculate the omissive initial settlement of earth dam is proposed.The method is based on the logarithmic model in references and the initial omissive settlement S0 is regarded as model parameter. The hybrid genetic algorithm(HGA) combining the standard genetic algorithm with quadratic programming is used to solve the model.Finally, analysis results of two engineering examples show that the model and method proposed in this paper has the features of clear physical meaning, without the need for tentative calculation of dispersion coefficient a,high calculation speed and precision.(2) It put the compressibility of soil in earth dam settlement analysis curve- e- p curve modeling processing.Based on prototype observation data and intelligence simplify calculation method of expression, fitting, completed the back calculation of its parameters.The inversion was used to optimize the parameters of the tested again after the settlement is calculated. It is not only to optimize the precision of the earth dam settlement calculation results.At the same time, the curve of the calculated through inversion can provide data for the future of engineering calculation.(3) Using the computer program to calculate the dam settlement, obeys the law of settlement is nonlinear changes of dam settlement curve.The settlement results verified the results of theoretical calculation, the settlement of the above model and the effectiveness of the conclusion.Finally, summarized the work in this paper, and further research in the future was prospected.
