Aiming at resource and environmental pollution in the process of large-scale highway construction, central government put forward the policy of accelerate the development of a conservation-minded and the environment-friendly society.Besides, transformation of economic growth, reducing resources consumption, preserve the ecological environment were set as a basic decision in our country. The emergence of warm mix asphalt technology can not only achieve the goal of saving energy and protect the environment, but also extend the construction time limit for a project.This paper conducted a series of related research on the applicability of the warm mix asphalt based on related research results at home and abroad and engineering progect, the conclusions are as follows:1. Emulsified asphalt viscosity decrease technique was selected as the evotherm in low-temperature season in Weifang area based on investigation of the current commonly used warm mix asphalt technology at home and abroad.2. Recommended dosage of mixture ratio design and the optimum asphalt-aggregate ratio was determined.3. The performance of evotherm warm-mix asphalt include compacting property, high temperature performance, mechanical properties and water stability are better than that of hot mix asphalt mixture.4. Water damage resistance method of warm mix asphalt mixture such as control of pavement structure layer porosity, add shoulder drainage layer, select hydrophilic smaller alkaline stone, adding anti stripping agent by the analysis of origin for water damage of pavement.5. Based on the trace analysis of blending transportation, paving and compaction of warm mix asphalt mixture of experimental section, quality control method was concluded that control of warm mix asphalt mixture technology.
