It plays an important role in the controlling flood, resisting drought, regulating climate, reducing pollution of the environment, controlling soil and maintaining biodiversity. At the same time, it is also important gene pool of plants and animals, and it provides water, food and shelter for wetland animals and plants.Therefore, the research is about urban wetland park planning and design and it explore that how the wetland and the city symbiosis and how to use and protect the rare wetland resources in the city.The Tianbaobei wetland park design of Fuqing is mainly on protecting and recovering and the complementary principle is rational utilization. Constructing an ecological and integrated wetland park that it can control flood, being available for visitors view and popularize knowledge of wetland.This article mainly includes the four parts:introduction, domestic and foreign related cases’study and review, The Tianbaobei wetland park design of Fuqing and the thinking and summarize of the project.
