With the progress of economy, issue of circumstance is outstanding. People are being focus on the green building industry. With some national policies proposed, prefabricated house technology constantly become innovation and maturity. Because of its large space, flexible layout, standardized production, industrialized production, steel structure residential building greatly improves work efficiency, which save labor, reduce costs, save land, reduce energy consumption, environmental protection. It’s great significance for humanity healthy development.Currently, steel residential development of maintenance is’ t yet perfect. Plug-wall is a widely used composite wall material. But composite wall material generally has high energy consumption. It consumes a lot of arable land and causes seriously environmental pollution. Therefore, we should focus research work that shift shortcomings of traditional wall materials. For according with green building development, we should study the development and application of new wall materials.In northeast of China, after annual corn harvest, farmers were burning straw generally in their own land, which have a great relationship with that the city is often subjected to fog and haze. As new green building materials straw concrete save energy, save land, green and so on. Our mainly research on insulation properties, bearing capacity of straw concrete wall. The article research on bearing capacity of straw concrete wall panel.Firstly, we should determine the best proportioning of concrete straw through experimental research, which needed to meet the design requirements. Then use of new energy-saving straw produced concrete panel. According to different reinforcement spacing and having window or not, we produced four straw concrete wall panels. Test carry out a lateral load tests on prefabricated wall panels. Panels were observed process of destruction. We sorted data and clarified test results.Secondly, new wall panels were studied through finite element numerical analysis. Based on the test, we made models through ANSYS. We mainly researched different reinforcement ratio and opening hole of straw concrete wall panels. The n, the simulation value was compared with the test results finally.Study results present as follows:Reinforcement ratio doesn’t dramaticlly influence cracking load of straw energy-saving panel. With the increase of the wall reinforcement ratio, the wallboard joint need more seriously. Otherwise the joint is easy to appear punching shear damage, and it doesn’t influence bearing capacity. Corners of opening hole are easy to appear stress concentration. The first crack appear far away from one side to the hole and the deflection is the biggest. The wall panel and two layers of steel mesh have enough stiffness and strength.
