The Research Of The Construction & Heterogeneous Elements’ Interposing Of The Square Order Form

Contemporarily Chinese architecture has manifested a state of chaos and confusion on aspect of creation, but an awkward situation of homogenization and not strong creation in terms of basic pattern language. The reason of this situation is the lack of deep exploration for building language but to show the pathological and blind pursuit on the surface. To deal with the ideological confusion and language shortage of Chinese contemporary architecture creation, we need to deeply study the existing architecture normal forms and rely on the classical architectural styles to figure out new architecture generative mechanism in contemporary China based on the basic graphic styles.And square as the most original and important construction prototype in architectural vocabulary, the scope of its application almost spans all building types and exists in all historical periods. The morphological characteristics, tolerance, creative potential and designers’unconscious dependence that the square has all become the impetus leading us to study it. Whether it is as a controlling element, the basic module or building motif of the architectural space basic form, it can be seen in many construction works. And its application form, application time as well as application scope all are more than other basic geometric.This paper takes the morphological characteristics, graphic construction mode, application in architectural design of square geometrical morphology as the goal, deeply studying and analyzing more than 150 examples of architectural works from more than 50 architects, hundreds of art works from all kinds of art categories and millions of words of literature. The paper also constructs the prototypes and displays the diagrams for every possible methods and finally concludes the construction methods of square geometric order forms and intervenes the design method of heterogeneous elements into square.In the process of research, the paper embarks from the prototype architecture creation, trying to explore the counterpoint relations of architecture, art, and geometry. It is based on the a basic figure- square and combines with the thinking methods of multi disciplines and multi kinds to explore the possibility and prospect of architecture generating mechanism of square geometric prototype creation in the background of contemporary cities from various angles, rethinking the contemporary architecture creation background and exploring the architecture forms of square geometric prototype in contemporary architecture creation.
