In the rapid development of global urbanization, the study of sustainable building has become a top priority in the construction industry. Achieving harmony between man and nature, efficiently using of resources and reducing energy consumption are important issues to build a resource recycling-oriented, environment-friendly society. In the construction market, resource recycling residential needs to be developed and popularized vigorously and urgently. Recycling-oriented architectures based on the closed loop system of social resources, achieve to maximize resource efficiency and minimize negative environmental impacts by the full life cycle monitoring and guiding the flow of resources and energy.In this study, development status and trends of resource recycling residential were analyzed and evaluated on the basis of natural conditions in northern China and the policies and regulations for the colder regions. Classified and selected the key techniques of resource recycling research abroad. In the SI system framework, combining resource recycling residential design system and key technologies with existing prefabricated assembly methods, summarized the advanced concepts and technical approaches of resource recycling residential which suit China.Then,it can be seen that the appropriate units conditions and resource recycling technology usage through case studies and research situation of residential aid system in northern China. On this basis, analyse residential industry and resource recycling status and forecast prospects. Finally, focus on five stages in life cycle of sustainable residential. Summarize relevant construction technology and further propose recycling-oriented theoretical concepts and localized design strategy meeting the needs of our country’s development.
