This article starts from the regional expression and inheritance perspective, and carries on with medium scale of spatial structure and form of urban. In the area across the Tibet region, this article analyzes the general characteristics of Tibet small towns. and makes a deep analysis in characteristics of Tibet small towns and its influence mechanism. The first chapter is the introduction, introduced the origin, purpose, background and significance, expounded research contents and methods, and elaborated the mainly related theory, finally drawn the research framework of this paper. The second chapter is the research on the classification and zoning of the Tibet small town. Partition and classify on Tibet small towns from the natural conditions, traffic conditions, economic function, religious influence, which can fully reflect the background of the development of Tibet small towns, in order to conduct a preliminary understanding of it and as a pilot study of the next two core chapters. The third chapter is the study on the spatial structure of Tibet small towns. This chapter is mainly based on the field survey data and the existing research results, using the classical theory of urban spatial structure, and divide the spatial structure of towns into three elements--growth point, development axis and functional areas. On this basis, through the relationship between the elements to reflect the organization laws of small towns. Summed up several typical types according to different relationship, and analysis the evolution of these spatial structure to overall, deeply reflect the spatial structure characteristics of Tibet small towns. The fourth chapter is the study on the spatial form of Tibet small towns. From small to large, from general to specific, from plane to three-dimensional, the spatial form is divided into three levels--the plane shape, blocks texture and streets. The level of plane form: based on qualitative description, make description, classification and comparison of its using related mathematical statistics. and analyze the factors of the scale of the overall development of balanced degree, plane shape complexity and its influence. The level of blocks texture: mainly work on inductive elements, analysis growth process, then summarizes its typical characteristics. The level of street: divide into type, scale and interface for researching, finally analyzes the formation reasons for regionalism. The last part is the conclusion, summarize, combing the research contents of the previous four chapters and conclusions.
